Lodging
Las Lajas Game Ranch provides on-site accommodations to meet the needs of our guests with four comfortable, spacious cabins (cabañas in Spanish). The two story cabañas are finished in a rustic, frontier-style decor. With a lower living/bedroom area that features a queen-size bed and fold-down futon and an upper loft with 2 twin beds, up to six guests can sleep comfortably at the end of long day’s hunt. Each cabaña has all the modern amenities of home that include satellite TV, air-conditioning & heating, ceiling fans and private bathroom with hot shower.

As a finishing touch, each cabaña has two (both front and back) balconies for enjoying a panoramic South Texas sunset and moonrise. They also make a great viewpoint to observe wild game in the field. Sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquility of being away from it all.

Outdoor Patio & Kitchen
Cook and dine in our 1200 sq. foot, covered, outdoor kitchen and patio. Our fully equipped kitchen has a stove with oven, 2 refridgerators, microwave, coffee pots, cooking utensils and a BBQ grill/smoker. This “friend and family area” has dinning tables, serving bar and a huge fireplace. It even doubles as a huge relaxation room where you can sip on your favorite cold one while enjoying a booming fire. It’s a guaranteed Texas-style hunting camp atmosphere with style.

Meals Optional
To keep your hunting costs down meals are optional at Las Lajas. Hunters and guests electing to cook their own meals will need to bring their own food, beverages and eating utensils. Upon request, Las Lajas can provide a cook to prepare the food you bring or you can make arrangements with us to provide all meals. Both services are additional fees. You may also choose to dine in town at any of Zapata’s fine restaurants just a few minutes away.

Game Cleaning Station
Taking care of downed game is simple at our game cleaning station. It has 2 game hoists, running water and flood lights for skinning, caping and quartering. A large freezer is available for use. Cold storage and a local butcher is also available for a fee.
